Project Overview

Circular Harvest is an Erasmus+ mobility project designed to strengthen organisational capacity in sustainability education by equipping adult education professionals with practical knowledge of circular economy principles and sustainable food systems.

Through international training and job shadowing activities, the project supports organisations in integrating environmental sustainability into their educational programmes while promoting resource efficiency, food waste reduction and community awareness. By combining European cooperation with hands-on learning, Circular Harvest contributes to more resilient and sustainability-oriented adult education practices.

OBJECTIVES

Circular Harvest aims to strengthen organisational capacity for sustainability by pursuing three strategic objectives:

  • Promote a shared culture of sustainability through greater awareness of food waste and resource efficiency.
  • Strengthen staff competences to design and implement sustainability strategies within adult education.
  • Equip organisations with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver sustainability training and awareness initiatives for local communities.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

EUROMAP contributed to the implementation of the project through:

  • Planning and organisation of international learning activities
  • Delivery of capacity-building sessions on circular economy and sustainability
  • Development of innovative learning methodologies, including digital storytelling and gamification
  • Design of educational resources and learning materials
  • Support for participant engagement, evaluation and knowledge transfer
  • Coordination of project implementation and dissemination activities

KEY ACTIVITIES

The project combines mobility, training and collaborative learning through a range of practical activities:

  • Workshops on circular economy and sustainable food systems
